I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina and earned my Bachelor of Science in Technical Photography from Appalachian State University. In the spring of 2024 I felt ready for a change of pace and made my way to the coast, where I settled in the charming town of Morehead City, NC.
I've been in love with photography from the first camera I got at 12 years old. Though my path was not direct, I always knew photography would be a part of my life in one way or another. When I realized that my dream of becoming a doctor was not in the cards (I nearly passed out just walking past a blood donation room!), it became clear that photography was where my heart truly belonged.
For me, photography is so much more to me than just taking pictures - it's about telling stories, preserving moments and connecting with people. Each session allows me to meet amazing individuals and create lasting memories that they can cherish for a lifetime.

Things you might not know about me:
- I absolutely love to hike! I almost always bring my camera along and usually end up going off trail in order to get the perfect shot.
- I am very passionate about soccer and almost accepted a scholarship to play at the collegiate level but after some very serious damage to my knee I had to give it up.
- I very recently got engaged and I'm so excited to be married in November of 2026
- I love to travel and once drove to Colorado for my younger brother's wedding by myself. It took 26 hours and I took naps at truck stops.
- A secret passion of mine is crocheting I've made four baby blankets this year
- I absolutely hate being on the other side of the camera!
